Tails and Tales

Kids 12 years and under can participate in the Summer Reading Program. 

Register online at Beanstack or download the Beanstack app on your device and select Pelham Public Library. Next create an account and start tracking your reading progress! As you read, you will earn virtual badges, and your name will be entered into drawings for prizes. The more you read, the more entries you earn!

Winners will be drawn weekly, and grand prizes will be drawn at the end of summer. One lucky reader will win a $100 gift card and goodies from our Friends at Bike Link! 

Complete the weekly challenge for another chance to when a prize!

Events and Programs

Mondays: STEM with the Science Lady

Each week there is a new STEM video on the library's YouTube from the Science Lady. Pickup an activity sheet from the Children's Department to complete that week's STEM activity.

Tuesdays: Virtual Summer Program Videos and Live Zoom Events

We will post the link to our virtual summer program videos or Zoom events in the Library Calendar each week! Check in on Tuesdays to view!

Wednesdays: Storytime 

Watch your favorite stories come to life with Ms. Ashley on YouTube. A new video will post on June 9, 16, 30 & July 7. Join us IN PERSON for Storytime in the Park on June 2, 23 & July 14 at 9:30 am. We will be at the pavilion in City Park near the Rec Center.

Thursdays: Tech Time @ 2:00 pm

From June 10-July 15 we will have Tech Time for upcoming 3rd-6th graders at the pavilion in City Park near the Rec Center. Registration is limited and required. Call 205-620-6418 to register beginning on Monday for that week's class.

Friday: Healthy Kids

Jefferson State Community College Nursing Students present a series of videos perfect for kids. A new video will be posted to the library YouTube page on June 4, 18, & July 2, 16.
